Follow these steps to create a Google Tag Manager (GTM) account and get the container ID (e.g. GTM-ABCDE123) you’ll need to plug into your 2U.GG dashboard.
1. Create or Sign In to Your Google Account
Visit the Google Account page:
https://accounts.google.com/signupIf you already have a Gmail or Google Workspace account, click Sign in and enter your credentials.
Otherwise, complete the sign-up form to register a new Google account.
2. Access Google Tag Manager
Go to the GTM console:
https://tagmanager.google.com/If prompted, select your Google account.
3. Set Up Your GTM Account & Container
Create an Account
Account Name: Enter your organization or project name (e.g. “2U.GG”).
Country: Choose your country.
Create a
Container Name: Use your website’s domain or project name (e.g. “2u.gg”).
Target Platform: Select Web.

4. Locate Your Container ID
After creation, the GTM interface will display your new container’s details at the top of the screen. You’ll see an identifier in the format GTM-XXXXXXX—this is your Container ID.

Log in to your 2U.GG accou
Navigate to Integrations & API → Google Tag Manager.
Paste your GTM-XXXXX ID into the field provided and save.
2U.GG will now fire all your GTM tags on link redirects automatically.
